These pictures show Mr Crosby (the smartly-dressed pipe-smoker) who owned the boat for a short time around 1953 having bought it from the Harstons.  Also shown is skipper John Roberts, wearing a peaked cap.  Whilst owned by the Crosby family Amokura was based at Port Dinorwic in North Wales and the family was connected to the Royal Anglesey Yacht Club.  She was sailed mainly in Cardigan Bay and to Ireland.
